This page explains what information AsiaMap.net (“the site”, “we”) collects when you visit, how it is used, and the choices you have. The site is a free reference resource for the geography of Asia. It does not require an account, does not run a forum, and does not sell goods or services. The amount of personal data involved is therefore deliberately small.

1. Information collected automatically

Server access logs are retained for a short period and then deleted or anonymised. Aggregate analytics in Google Analytics are subject to Google’s default retention period.
